Indonesia Government 2.0

Published in Gallery at 2 Nov 2012

E-Government has a wide range of service area. Hundreds of Local Government tried to develop applications of their own (silos). This diversity of information technology they use cause unadaptive IT/IS infrastructure. It prevents business function to easily scale, extend or deploy a new Government service. Central Government has been trying to reconcile data produced by those silos, but it takes a lot of effort, time and cost.

Adaptive IT/IS infrastructure in national scope can be achieved using Software as a Service (SaaS) as the business model. The platform based on function block of E-Government blueprint of ICT Ministry of Indonesia. The application that is built to run under the Services will be forced to apply the Open Standard and comply with the National IT/IS architecture blueprint. The Services will practically role as a Government Interoperability Framework (GIF). The facts above motivated the development of Indonesia Goverment 2.0, a platform that provide E-Goverment Cloud Service for Indonesia.
